Global Recycling Day. This year’s theme is celebrating ‘Recycling Heroes’.

Start of The Great British Spring Clean and School Clean week. National litter picking event cleaning up streets, parks, schools and beaches.

International Day of Forests. This day celebrates forests and raises awareness of their importance.

World Water Day. Events highlighting the link between water and climate change.

Start of Winchester Green Week and screening of ‘Six Inches of Soil’ film.

The film tells the inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities.

It will be screened using new state of the art projection equipment in the Perins Main Hall followed by a discussion and Q&A session with a panel of local experts.
