Carrot Golden Slice
A great main course with roast potatoes and greens or sliced up cold it makes a savoury snack for packed lunches.
Ingredients:
6 oz cheese
6 oz carrots grated
4 oz rolled oats
2 oz butter
Method:
- Melt butter and mix in the grated cheese and grated carrots and allow to meld together .
- Add the oats and mix thoroughly.
- Place the mixture in an proof oven dish and cook for half an hour at 375, 190 or gas mark 5 until crisp and lightly brown.
