Start of Plastic Free July. A global movement advocating refusing single use plastics.

‘New Leaf Natter’ and Community Growing open evening at the allotments. An opportunity to come and see the Community Growing project, meet the volunteers, and see the methods being employed for more sustainable environmentally friendly growing.

Start of National Marine Week. Events to celebrate all things marine.

Start of National Allotments Week. Raising awareness of allotments and the role they play in helping people to live healthier lifestyles, grow their own food, develop friendships and bolster communities.
