Kerbside Collection
You can recycle drinks cans, aerosols and food tins through the collection service using Winchester City Council’s green recycling bin.
Items for recycling need to be empty and clean. Remove the plastic lids from aerosols please. Tin lids can be recycled with your household collection but ONLY if either left attached to the can, or pushed into the tin with the opening squeezed closed to prevent the lid falling out. Loose lids in the recycling can fall into machinery and cause damage.
Aluminium foil and cooking trays are not accepted for collection but can be recycled along with all other metals at:
