Start of Hampshire Libraries Green and Thrift fortnight full of free, eco-friendly activities designed to help you, your family and friends save money while making sustainable choices.

From patching and upcycling workshops, to children’s interactive story time sessions, junk modelling, nature trails, waste prevention roadshows and seed swaps there’s something for everyone. Join us to discover how small changes can make a big difference for both your wallet and the planet.

Global Recycling Day. This year’s theme is celebrating ‘Recycling Heroes’.

International Day of Forests. This day celebrates forests and raises awareness of their importance.
